Twilio SMS

The Twilio SMS app links your own Twilio account to TajerPro. The Send SMS step of Automations then sends text messages to your customers from that account — your sender, your prices. Twilio bills you directly.

Connect

1. Open Applications → Social & Messaging → Twilio SMS → Install.
2. Sign in on console.twilio.com. In the Account Info box of the home page, copy the Account SID (it starts with AC) and the Auth Token.
3. Enter the sender (From): one of your Twilio numbers (+1415…), a Messaging Service (MG…) or a sender name (Sender ID, up to 11 letters).
4. Click Connect Twilio. TajerPro checks the account with Twilio before saving it; the Auth Token is stored encrypted and never shown again.

Once connected, use Send a test SMS to check that a message reaches your own phone. Change updates the sender or the token (leave the token empty to keep it), Disconnect removes the account — the Send SMS steps that use Twilio then stop sending.

Use it

In Automations, add the step Send SMS and choose Twilio. Messages can use the order variables ({name}, {order_id}, {city}, {total}, {tracking}…). Each SMS sent is added as a note on the order.

Good to know for Morocco

• SMS sent from US numbers (+1) are often filtered by Moroccan operators, even when Twilio says delivered. Prefer a Sender ID (your brand name) set up in your Twilio account.
• A Trial Twilio account only sends to numbers you verified in Twilio, and adds “Sent from your Twilio trial account” to every message. Upgrade the account for real customers.
• Only users who can edit automations (admins) can connect, change or test the account.
